What a fine and memorable idea-image! It’s the ‘holding onto’ bit that distinguishes this type of anger from that which can give one a feeling of great release, or that which could be used positively to generate energy (to somehow transform the sudden power of angry people into usable energy), although this could yield bulbs – for example – that burn in quite an ugly manner. Or from any other type of anger.
