kill it kill it kill it

I’m sure everyone’s had this sort of exhaustingly relentless throat infection, whereby you’re forced to drink water like a fish to remain hydrated, whilst you blow your nose until it’s red raw, and piss like a firehose every five minutes. You become lethargic, your head gets floaty, and your ears will not “pop”.

I think these pictures I took with my Camera Phone today on the train illustrate the kind of mood i’m in! Emo alert:

train1

train2

At the moment i’m trying the “scold it to death” trick of gulping down paintfully hot tea. It’s probably doing more harm than good, but I can imagine those germs being burnt to fuck, like the bastards they are.

Bitter? A little.

  • i’m sorry you’re miserable too. i’ve been drinking cold tea instead and popsicles and drinking bottles of cough syrup. you look totally hottt in the pictures, even though you’ve contracted the plague.

  • I think I recently had a much less severe form of throat dryness, and even that was irritating. I also hate blowing my nose until it’s irritated, and using “economy” tissues that are essentially thin white paper towels doesn’t help. :(

Here’s hoping you become unsick soon.

  • Haha, yeah. Tissues begin to feel like sandpaper. Then there are the tissues at college, which are like sandpaper to begin with.
