I made this simple flash application to help me learn Swedish verbs.

I added the swedish national anthem to the title screen, just for added cheese. I used a MIDI, hoping to make it super cheesy, but it was actually quite tasteful (as far as MIDI music goes), so I ran it through an audio filter to make it sound tinny and twee.

You can scroll through the verbs using the left and right arrow keys, and you can momentarily reveal the verbs using the spacebar. If you want to grade yourself, you can use the plus and minus keys to scroll through, pressing minus for “incorrect” and plus for “correct” (actually it’s the underscore and equals keys, but I can use my imagination here because i’m the only person who will ever use this thing).

Yes, I clearly wasted my time in creating this thing when I could just have learned them from a list. But this was more fun.

I recreated the NES game Duck Hunt, in flash…. Sort of.

Printed 5 photographs today for an exhibition in Paris. They were more expensive than I expected.

I printed 3 extra ones (before I knew how much they were) for myself:

It’s hard to see the scale of them, from this photograph I took of them. But the larger ones are A3 size.

I got a ‘II.1′ in my Film course, overall, which is the second highest rank you can get. A few more percent and it would have been a ‘I’. I’m pretty happy with that, but I have loads of work to do for German and Dutch over the next week.

I made this thing just now. They strike different dance poses at random. I rather like it, but there are only 5 different poses so it gets pretty old pretty fast.
