Born in Wales, to English and Cypriot parents, Jonathan moved to Ireland age 10 with his family and since then he has studied in Ireland (Dublin), Austria (Vienna), Belgium (Ghent), Germany (Tuebingen) and England (Cambridge).

Jonathan is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, having received his BA (Hons.) in Germanic Languages in 2009. In 2010 he acquired the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA).
